Dr. Theo de Jager is the founder and Chairman of Agri All Africa, a solutions-based agri-agency dedicated to unlocking commercial farming potential across the continent. A respected leader in African agriculture, his expertise is a unique blend of practical, on-the-ground experience as a timber and subtropical fruit farmer and a deep intellectual foundation.
As Chairman, Dr. de Jager provides the strategic vision for AAA’s operations, ensuring projects are both financially viable and aligned with the broader goals of sustainable development. His extensive network and influence were cultivated through a career in top leadership roles, including his past service as President of the World Farmers Organisation (WFO) and the Pan African Farmers Organisation (PAFO). Dr. de Jager holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pretoria, which has informed his analytical approach to complex challenges. Kunmi Demuren is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor who serves as the Vice Chairman of Agri All Africa. With over two decades of experience spanning multiple sectors, he is a visionary in integrating technology, finance, and engineering into high-impact industries. His leadership is pivotal to Agri All Africa’s strategy of transforming agriculture into a technologically advanced, data-driven, and commercially viable sector across the continent.
A co-founder of both Venture Garden Group (VGG), a technology holding conglomerate, and GreenHouse Capital Africa, a leading tech investor, Kunmi has a proven track record of building and scaling innovative companies in Africa. Since co-founding VGG in 2010 and GreenHouse Capital in 2016, his work has focused on leveraging capital, technology platforms, and business advisory to address inefficiencies and drive sustainable growth. His portfolio includes over 60 companies valued at a combined $4 billion, underscoring his expertise in fostering tech ecosystems. This experience is directly applicable to Agri All Africa’s mission of building robust, scalable agricultural value chains.
Kunmi’s background is a testament to his versatility and analytical skill. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, achieving Summa Cum Laude for his master’s at The Cooper Union. His career began with hands-on engineering roles at companies like FMC Corporation, VaxInnate Corporation, and Merck, where he focused on process optimization and project management. This foundational experience provides him with a unique, process-oriented perspective on agricultural systems, from production to logistics.
As a Director at EAN Aviation Limited and a key figure in commodity trading, Kunmi possesses a deep understanding of infrastructure and international markets. His career is a powerful demonstration of his commitment to driving organizational transformation and leveraging innovation to unlock Africa’s economic potential.

Dirk’s leadership is grounded in a vast network and a proven track record. He is the co-founder of Agri All Africa (AAA) alongside Dr. Theo de Jager, and has served as its Executive Manager since 2015. He has also held key positions as CEO of Agri Gauteng and AgriSaMoz, and has been a central figure on the Zambian South African Business Forum.
His expertise in strategic risk analysis and international relations is a significant asset to AAA. He has been requested by the South African and Zambian governments to co-chair a work stream on Bilateral Economic Development in Agriculture, underscoring his trusted role in high-stakes policy dialogue.
Under Dirk’s leadership, AAA has advised African governments and private investment platforms, developing strong links with countries across the continent, including the SADC region, ECOWAS, COMESA, and ECCAS. His commitment to smallholder development in a unique partnership with commercial farmers is a cornerstone of his philosophy, which he believes is crucial for successful agricultural value chains in Africa.

Dr. Franck Attere is a distinguished agricultural scientist and development expert with over four decades of experience in plant genetics, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture across Africa. His extensive background in research, policy, and project management is a significant asset to Agri All Africa, informing the company’s approach to sustainable and impactful agricultural development.
Dr. Attere’s career is marked by high-level contributions to global agricultural and environmental organizations. His journey began as an Agriculturist Trainer in Burkina Faso before he became a Research Associate at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his later roles in global policy and research. He later served as the first Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at IPGRI (Bioversity International), where he was instrumental in establishing national and regional gene banks across the continent, including the Kenya Gene bank and the SADC Regional Gene bank in Zambia.
His expertise extends into high-level global policy and environmental conservation. Dr. Attere was involved in the preparation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (Rio, 1992) and contributed to the State of the World Genetic Resources and the FAO Global Plan for PGRFA. He later served as Regional Director for the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) for the Central Africa Regional Program, focusing on conservation in the Congo Basin Forest. As a Consultant at the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), he worked on project evaluations and contributed to flagship publications like the Global Environment Outlook (GEO).
A key milestone in his career was his time at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) from 2008 to 2013, where he served as the Special Advisor to the President and Secretary to the Board of Directors. This high-level position gave him direct involvement in developing “Regional Breadbaskets” to increase food production and security across Francophone West Africa. This hands-on experience in scaling agricultural initiatives across a diverse region aligns directly with Agri All Africa’s core mission.
Dr. Attere holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Plant Genetic Resources Use and Conservation) from the University of Birmingham, UK, and Master’s degrees from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the University of Birmingham and currently serves as the Vice Chair for Africa at the TransPacific Africa Chamber of Commerce & Industry, leveraging his vast experience to foster international business and trade relations. His long-standing career and unwavering commitment to agricultural development make him an unparalleled expert in the field.

Priscilla Motlhako is a trailblazing international business executive and Director at Agri All Africa, bringing a dynamic blend of entrepreneurial vision and hands-on experience in critical sectors such as infrastructure, technology, and agriculture. Her strategic leadership is instrumental in driving Agri All Africa’s expansion and fostering key partnerships across the continent.
Priscilla’s professional journey is a testament to her resilience and forward-thinking approach. Born in exile and raised as a refugee, her early life in Nairobi shaped a powerful sense of self-reliance. This foundation propelled her into a pioneering career where she became one of the first Black women to own Woolworths and other franchises in South Africa.
As the Co-Founder and Director of the Boholo Group, Priscilla has built a prominent company with a global presence, specializing in sustainable growth in Africa. Her work at Boholo directly complements her role at Agri All Africa, particularly in the agricultural sector where they lead one of the largest food security projects in East and Central Africa. This initiative is a prime example of her ability to execute large-scale projects that address critical continental challenges.

Her experience includes co-founding Business Connexion Kenya, a leading technology firm, and her involvement in flagship projects in transport, energy, and telecommunications. She serves as the Chairperson of the Real Madrid Foundation in South Africa and a mentor for the Equity “Wings to Fly” MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program. Dr. Raphael Wanjogu is a distinguished agronomist and research scientist who serves as a key member of the Agri All Africa leadership team. With over three decades of experience in African irrigation, crop production, and agricultural research, his expertise is fundamental to ensuring that all of Agri All Africa’s projects are both scientifically sound and commercially viable. A celebrated figure in Kenya’s agricultural sector, Dr. Wanjogu’s career is defined by transformative success in managing some of the country’s most significant agricultural initiatives, including his role as the Chief Officer of Research at the National Irrigation Authority (NIA). He is widely recognized for stabilizing and boosting production at the Mwea Irrigation Scheme, a leading rice-producing region in Africa.
Dr. Wanjogu’s work is marked by a history of pioneering agronomic research and the introduction of innovative farming methods, such as the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) and the testing of water-efficient rice varieties like NERICA. He has also been a leader in addressing critical food safety challenges, successfully commercializing the aflatoxin biological control product ‘Alasafe.’ A visionary in climate-smart agriculture, he is credited with introducing ‘deficit irrigation farming’ to conserve water and improve water use efficiency by 30%. Beyond his agricultural innovations, he made a remarkable public health impact by leading a project that eradicated malaria from the Mwea irrigation scheme since 2009, a success that also boosted regional production and water productivity.
Dr. Wanjogu holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Nairobi, an M.Sc. in Agronomy from Egerton University, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi, complemented by international certifications from Israel and Japan.
